Here are better pics. They look too nice to be home brew.... but i think they might be. Woofers are 6”. They sound very nice hooked up in my office now. Sitting on top of HPM 100s for size reference. Each speaker weighs about 20-25 pounds

I was going to suggest home brew because of the lack of grill mounting, but that lacquer finish is very difficult to pull off. But the angled binding posts pretty much clinches it for me. Whoever built these had some real skill.

The woofer moves in and out freely around the center round piece that kind of looks like a gear where the dust cap should be. Interesting woofer for sure.

Yes, that phase plug is quite distinctive and could make identifying the manuf. easier. Well that and possible manuf. code on the back of the woofer.

The internal glue job screams mass production.

The tweeter screams NOT white van.

I am thinking newer boutique where these were mid/woofer, tweeter and there was a bass unit.
Lack of ID, badge, logo screams small startup company, maybe flash in the pan.

Screams, good parts, decent show off cab, high profit margin to cover low production.

I do some Google research on weird stuff that comes through and see crazy expensive boutique stuff that is probably more show than go.

Look at brands that places like Definitive Audio in Seattle sells.
