Right speaker going strong. Emit on the left going in and out. I swapped fuses, same thing, so not the fuse. Possibly a loose wire/solder? Or do I need to start shopping on eBay for a replacement? Or does someone rebuild them? Anything else to check?

First switch the tweeter between left and right speakers to make sure no crossover issues. If the problem stays with tweeter then you can check the solder connections (it will require disassembly and a jig, so make sure you're up to the task). Here's one post on repair. Don't sweat it if not, they're still readily available on eBay (you can use a tweeter from a Qa, Qb or Quantum Jr; any silver EMIT should work, you'll just have to swap it into the circular mounting plate) at fairly reasonable prices. Having someone rebuild it will probably cost more than a used replacement.

If it turns out the problem is the crossover, check to make sure all solder connections are intact, then if that doesn't help, you're probably going to have to replace the capacitor (according to the diagram, it's a simple crossover with only a single capacitor and a single inductor).
