Quick question MX113 powering on

I have a MX113 that I have had for about 30 years. It has not been powered on for about 20 years. Is it safe to power on or should I use a variac to bring it up slowly?

I assume it will need to be aligned, but what else should I consider doing once I have it up and running?

The preamp section is a virtual copy of the c26 preamp......searching the forum for c26 restorations should give you the right ideas.

Tuner has some unique quirks that have come up over the decades.....other than the power supply the tuner is best left to a pro with the correct alignment test gear.

And a variac with a ammeter to monitor the current draw is the best way....a quick and dirty way would be with a dim bulb tester.
