Rare Sansui model

Neat! Tubes (rule?).

And separate tuning caps for AM and FM. Real nice vintage item. And good looking to boot.

Yes, its a tube model, I believe it wasnt until the TR-707 (approximately 1967) that Sansui started making solid-state receiver models.

It's nice to see Sansui equipment of that vintage that's so clean inside. And the space! Like working under the hood of a 50s era car. :p:

I know, but someone, somewhere, somehow, might be wondering when the unit was first made
Reviving a 'Zombie' thread isn't the way to do it - especially as this information is available here
https://audiokarma.org/forums/index.php?threads/2017-sansui-serial-number-database.765341/

Where 10 examples are listed on page 223 of the linked database, with their Year and Month of manufacture. :)

And also here:- https://audiokarma.org/forums/index.php?threads/sansui-database-update.11695/ - on page 18 of the linked database for 'All Sansui Products'

However, the TR-707A is indeed a rare model, please start your own thread for it, many here including me will be interested to see pictures ;) - and how you get on with working on it. ;)

We have 10 examples of the TR-707A on file in the database. They were manufactured between December 1965 and August 1967. Please post your serial number and I'll add it to the database. The more serial numbers we collect, the more accurate this "range of production" information becomes.
