Picked up a cosmetically perfect pair of these off CL for $40 with original box, bags and paperwork. Refoamed woofers using 30 hz method - came out great with no VC rub. These speakers seem "power hungry" and have relatively muddy mids (not as clear or defined) with harsher treble compared to my Advent legacy and are nowhere near as clean as my homemade SR71.
My question is what would be the next step to make these sound better? Replace caps? The prodigy II model has different tweeters that my legacy - should I replace those? Cut my losses and sell?
