I just finished putting actual wood veneer on my 7070 and re-veneering my SR-2050. It was way easier than I thought it would be. If anyone reading this is considering re-doing veneer, I hope you'll try it! I'm really happy with how it all came out.

What type of glue did you use?
Did you trim the edges as 45 degree angles, or just do a flat 90 degree cut?
Or did you do Iron on veneer?
What type of stain/coating did you use?

Looks real nice, and I do have a bunch of Walnut veneer to try.

Hi. I used a 2'x8' roll of peel and stick veneer. It looks great and was easy to use. I put each panel on slightly oversize and then trimmed with a razor. A little 300 grit sandpaper helped blend the edges and make the seams less visible. For the finish, I used 6 coats of Formby's Tung Oil Finish from Home Depot.
