Any one have a handy recap list for the Dynaco PAS 3X? I'm looking to keep it as stock as possible—not going for any mods right now...

Here's what I'm looking for:
1. Quality new (not NOS) power supply and filter capacitors that don't break the bank
2. Multi-section can capacitor options (can replacement or individual caps)
3. Selenium rectifier replacement diode options

Thanks for your help!

Do replace with one of the powersupply boards. Tube nirvana is one source :
https://www.tubular-well.se/index.php/webshop/reservdelar/dynaco-pas-psu-detail
( this is sold as kit )
or the even nicer one sold occationaly by "tubes4pro" on ebay ( i have his email if you want)
https://www.tubular-well.se/index.php/webshop/reservdelar/tubes4pro-psu-detail

The above is for reference only, it will be way to expensive to ship these to us.
both boards replaces all powersupply caps and selenium rectifiers and mounts in the
place where the bias caps used to be. The later one has place for 1n4007 diodes that
also replaces the 12x4 rectifier tube if one wants to.

Thanks for the spreadsheet and the links. When I get a chance I'll go over them and see what makes the most sense.

Perhaps I should already know this—and I'll do some searching when I get a chance—but would the new power supply board be considered a modification? Why is it needed? (i.e. why not just swap out existing capacitors with new ones, and the selenium rectifier with a diode?)

In addition to my own links, i notized that tubenirvana has on of these boards on ebay :
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dynaco-PAS-...355713?hash=item1c932e1781:g:XowAAOSwstJZRtGi

And why use it instead of trying to find can caps ?
Answer is why not. You replace one instance of a power supply with another with similar
capabilities but built on modern components. And it's a lot cheaper too.
The mod is reversable, you won't destroy anything, you won't loss any functions and it will
work as before.

One more thing is recommended, replace the pilot lamp with a LED, this saves a lot of power for
the small transformer.
I found one on ebay too :

Otherwize dynakitparts.com has them.

Ive replaced the lamps with LED kits for my FM3 tuner and modded PAS build. The ones with a trimmer are nice since you can adjust the brightness of the LED.
