Recommended NYC repair shop - is there a consensus?

Reading through threads on this topic (and yelp reviews, etc), I can't seem to find a consensus - is there a reasonably priced, reliable place for vintage audio repair in NYC or environs? I have come into possession of a Tandberg 3012 which sounds amazing, except there's quiet to crunchy static in the right channel on all outputs (including the headphone out). Already sprayed out the dust and gave it the deoxit treatment, which is about all I can handle here. Everyplace seems to get very mixed reviews, some folks totally happy and some very disgruntled customers, so I'm looking for unreserved recommendations.

Thanks. Soundsmith looks great but sadly I don't have a car, & their max estimate is quite a bit beyond my budget. I'll give Analogique a try.
