Redboy's setup from the audio underground

I've been looking at these for my office. I know you've gone full range, have you heard these?

I have not heard these but just in case you missed it, they are a 2 way coax speaker. I know it is clear in the description, but since it involves a crossover in these, I just thought it might be useful to point out as one of the virtues of tur full range drivers is the elimination of the crossover.

Thanks for the info Redboy. Very interesting stuff. I very much like your system because of all your projects. Your builds seem well thought out and executed with skill.

Thanks man, that's nice to hear. People are in this hobby for a lot of different reasons, but DIY hits all the right notes for me! :)

I got a bit of free time over the holiday weekend and put this little SUT together with some Haufe transformers. I like how it turned out.

It's a wee thing... :)

What is that used for???
Hey Dennis! :)

That's a Step Up Transformer (SUT) for, uh... stepping up or boosting the output of a Low Output Moving Coil (LOMC) phono cartridge to a level where it can be used with a typical MM phonostage.

That's what I thought Red. A friend gave me these because I want to go with a MC and my phono pre is only for MM. So, how do i wire them? Included a pic of my phono preamp as well.

It's been awhile since I posted any updates, but that's largely because I haven't made too many changes!

A couple of Lenco Heaven guys came over this past weekend for an birthday/anniversary celebration (LH is 10!). I totally forgot to take pictures, but my friend Scott snapped a couple!

Here are his pictures of the current system. The 301 and a Ray Samuels phono pre are the newest kids on the block.
