Replacing RCA Jacks on Vintage Tube Gear

So I am messing around with some really nice tube gear and I notice that the RCA jack are too close together and the jack actually seems a little shorter than a modern one. The cables seem to work lose very easily.

Anybody make this switch with HH Scott stuff? Which ones did you use? Have pictures of newly installed jacks on vintage gear?

For what it is worth I use Blue Jean cables just about everywhere.

Thanks again.

The problem is usually the hole spacing in the chassis doesn't really allow for extra room. I usually fix it with RCA cables that use small size ends. The Switchcraft 3502 is a nice one for small coin that fits old stuff. They're also a lot easier to install vs chassis mods.

Tubes for hifi has replacement gold plated RCA input jacks for the ST70. I believe they are spaced wider than the original.
Maybe they'll work.

I've sometimes installed new jacks, and of course the male ends on the cables are too close together. So, I've used those plastic tags that tie up bread bags and stuffed them between the ferrules. It doesn't look cute, but it works! :)))
