Replacing the power cord on an SA-7800

I am replacing my cut power cord on my SA-7800. I think I have it wired right but want to be sure. I have a polarized cord and I wired the fat side to the terminal that the brown wire from the transformer attaches to. The hot side is wired to the side with the switch and that side goes through a fuse before the transformer.

Is this correct?

I just checked it an it has around 17v on the chassis to ground when plugged in and turned on. Not sure that sounds right, but maybe?

If you are using a polarized plug with a wide blade and a narrow blade you should have the wire from the narrow blade going to the switch first. The narrow blade is your hot side in the US.
