That's damn good advice. You should try practicing it.
I created a style that that using Freestyler that is easier on the eyes freestyler.ws/style/131577
I just look at "new posts".
What would be difference in New Posts vs. Your News Feed? I've been away for a while. Want to get back in swing.
I never look in 'new posts' or 'news feed'. Call me old fashioned, I just click on the forums and look at the thread titles. The ones that interest me, I click on.
I'm sorry to tell you:
This really should be posted in the Taking Myself Much Too Seriously Forum.
Oh no, he's all about the welfare of AK.
This really should be posted in the 4 months too late response Forum.
I've totally forgotten what this thread was about!
Does it really matter?
It's about 132 posts long.
Or about 117 posts too long.
It's an unusually brief 4 months.
Just noticed that when I went into my signature to check/edit it, the editor immediately REJECTED my EXISTING signature on character count and # of lines!
I think Grumpy should get a happier name so as to not intimidate new members...sorry, didn't fill out the form. I didn't want Grumpy to see this from me

I haven't looked through this thread, so I'm not sure whether these points have been brought up.
It would be useful to have an Active Topics button, similar to that pictured. At present, once a thread has been read, there is no easy way to get back to it. An Active Topics button would yield a list of all recently changed posts, including those that have been read.
Also, would it be possible to institute the full range of interaction buttons available through Xenforo? As I understand it, all that would be required is for admins to decide which they wanted to offer. The present "like" button is somewhat limiting.
The buttons pictured are "Like, Dislike, Agree, Disagree, Funny, Winner, Informative, Friendly and Useful".
Separate names with a comma.
