These little guys prevent cross talk on the the switch positions. I was told you can’t really hear it if one is broken. It seems to be something you can only see on a Oscope. They’re less than a pF and have no DC voltage passing through them.Whew! Mine are ok. Here's what they look like if anyone can help Gordon:
