my revox B215 sometimes during play switches itself to source.
Rarely other times it will not shut off at the power switch. I have to disconnect the power chord.
it seems to be an electronic problem.
Is this due to worn capacitors? any idea which ones to replace?
    thanks

Pretty much all the electrolytic caps should be replaced. It could be almost any of them, especially the power supply ones.

The "B" series Revoxes are affected by CFL lightbulbs. The infrared protocol (Nokia / ITT) is occasionally/randomly 'faked' by these lights, so if you have one or several in the room, that could be sending the B215 false commands.
Try covering the IR sensor with a piece of cardboard to check if the problem vanishes.
