Hi All,

tried but failed in trying to find a wiring diagram anywhere, but to no avail!

Ready with the soldering iron, but have come across the original wires from the tonearm.

They go into a lovely little metal surround, inside which are the left and right wires: Red & Yellow

Simple question is: Which one is right/left.?

Sorry for bothering you, but just noticed a perfect example of german efficiency; they've embossed L and R into the plinth underside!

Hum!

Rewired direct to the TT with a pair of old phono leads lying around. There's a rather loud hum. Can't say whether it's me, or there was a hum beforehand with the DIN plug.

So.? If you look at the foto, you can see my handywork. I have noticed that there's a spare connector that I've marked. Is it worth trying to earth from here to the amp.? Currently no direct earthing, other than the phonos.

The DIN plug was connected with spades with a common ground.
Apart from soldering direct onto these spades the other thing I thought about is going changing back to a common ground - currently they are separate.

Advice appreciated.DSC04591.JPG
