Here's a question I've asked many but never heard a good answer to....

I learned in 3rd grade art class that the primary colors of the spectrum are Red, Blue, and YELLOW. ...


Can you see where I'm going with this?.......




....So why does video use GREEN, which as I understand it is a combination of yellow and blue?

What they taught in school is correct, for the reflective medium (like pictures). For a meduim that sources light, RGB are the primary colors. They usually don't teach that because elementary school art classes don't use CRTs as the canvas.
