Richard Shahinian Passed...

    Richard Shahinian passed away November 26th.

    RIP, he designed some really nice speakers.

    Heard the big Shahinian's (Diapason's?) a couple of times at shows back in the early 90's ... amazing realism - very creative and excellent sounding designs. may he RIP

    Man what a loss. He was such a neat guy, spoke with him and his son a number of times and always enjoyed the conversations especially Richard's huge personality.

    My thoughts and condolences are with the family.

    Now to go and break the news to my Obelisks. :(

    My friend still has the pair of Obelisks I sold to him 15 years ago. He had a nice phone conversation with him years ago when he upgraded the woofers. R.I.P. to a great speaker designer.
