I just learned that Frank Carpenter aka fcarpcarp passed away this past Sunday.

Frank has been our gracious host for many years at our popular FrankenFests.

God Speed Frank - you will be missed.

Very sorry to hear this. Frank was always an outstanding host to us New England ruffians whenever we invaded his woodshop (or, occasionally, his house). I attended as many of his "FrankenFests" as I could manage, and always had a great time among the woodworking equipment, his massive Altecs, and his impressive collection of Concept receivers. RIP, Frank. :(

    Sorry to hear this .

While I did not know him, the death of any one of our community diminishes us all.

Oh, not good news. I had the pleasure to meet him once. He was very gracious in his own unique way. This is a loss for the AK community, particularly in New England.
