Me thinks that your opinion of my abilities may be somewhat over rated, but thanks anyway.

Most of my successes have been based on excellent help from AKers like you, John, Kev, and many many others. All of my "AW sh*t!" moments can be laid on the doorsteps of carelessness, haste, or just flat-assed dumb actions. I'd be pickled tink if my abilities were in the 20-30% range of your obvious talents.

So I got impatient and traded my G5700 plus some cash for a working G5700, a pair of SP200 speakers, a Sony 5 Disc CD changer and, a Sony Turntable.

Sounds like a good deal, unless it was a pile of cash. The F-2980 can be a tricky board to work with, so this may have been a good move.
