Been lurking long enough...time to join. Outstanding forum.
I recently re-discovered my high school Pioneer SX-780 and EPI 100s. I caught the vintage bug and have since acquired a 1080 (the one I really wanted in high school, but couldn't afford!) and a 1050.
The rest of my gear includes some minty JBL 4310s and like new B&W CM-10s. Both CL finds. I splurged on a new Rega RP8 turntable. Watching CL for an OPPO blue ray player for SACD and CD play.
No electronics background or knowledge whatsoever but I find myself fascinated by restoration and repair posts. I must admit, most of the jargon is foreign to me. Would love to learn more when life and work (fly airplanes for a living) permits.
Musical taste varies widely. Baroque to Punk. Currently listening to Elvis Costello, Imperial Bedroom "Pidgeon English" on MoFi "Ultra Anolog 180g Vinyl" Wow!
