Recently found a yard sale Rotel 500 cassette deck for $5 bucks. To my surprise the sound fidelity is quite impressive. Among my top units JVC KD 55, Sansui SC 1110, Nad 6325 and other dual cassettes Teac and Sony I would say this is the best sounding unit of the bunch. Any one know if Rotel's cassettes were known for their quality?
