That's the idea. :D And now that I think about it, I'll probably have a source for reasonable tickets. The Info, Tickets, and Travel service on Hill AFB. They can usually get tickets to events for about half the listed price.

Definitely a good light and screen show. Sound varies on location, indoor always being the best imo.

Go see them again! I saw them twice on the Test For Echo tour (2 legs), once indoor (awesome show!) and once outdoor (good show). They have gotten better since then imo. :thmbsp:

I understand! No offense intended. :thmbsp:

I've always heard of these ways to get great tickets but never found any magic myself. The only times I've had "great" tickets were as a teen/college kid through my friend's parents. They tended to be well connected and somehow got us good seats at shows, sometimes free. I have no idea how. Never for a Rush show though, not that, again, I really want to be (or ever did) real close.

Maybe I'll see what I can do for this tour (especially if we decide not to or can't go see Rush at multiple cities do to work conflicts). :scratch2: Last time I was a little too far back and to the side for my liking. For the Vapor Trails tour and R30 though I had great seats! (middle, about 1/3 back). The problem is, with the internet now, EVERYONE shares this esoteric info. about how to get "good" seats to shows. Before it was a matter of knowing someone who knew someone who knew someone who knew how to do it or had a connection. Now anyone can find out the tricks, which means more competition for the better seats, and those who have connections can scalp their tickets online for high prices (what would they do before: post an ad in the newspaper and maybe get caught?), instead of give them away to friends.

Some pics posted here of Rush's gear in the studio they are recording a few songs in:

Supposedly Alex is engineering! NO! :sigh:

Some cool behind the scenes pics here of Rush's induction to the CSHoF from Jacob Moon (who did a singer/songwriter version of Subdivisions which he performed at the induction--at the request of Rush btw---which isn't half bad imo):

You can see Moon's version of Subdivisions here:

Here's the audio from the induction btw; I thought Claypool's version of The Spirit of Radio was horrible, I'm really surprised at how bad it was.

Paid 27 bucks for the bluray concert. Whoever mastered this should be horsewhipped. And I heard Lifeson mixed it.
