Decided that I wanted a separate tuner. Not sure why, I have a perfectly working Yamaha CR-1040 receiver.

I'm now the happy owner of Sansui TU-717 in beautiful condition. Came in it's original box with perfect styrofoam and warranty card. No other paperwork, but I've already downloaded everything.

I have her playing thru my McIntosh MA6100 integrated amp. Wow, she sounds amazing. I'm waiting on a one owner Sansui AU-7500 which I mistakenly bid on and won. Whoops.

I would have preferred an Au-717, but the asking prices for untested units are over $500. I'll keep looking and maybe one day I'll stumble across a great deal.

I'm happily listening to my AU 717 right now. And you didn't make a mistake on an AU 7500. I predict you will be quite content with it paired with your Sansui tuner. You might even get over the AU 717 fever.

    TU-717s sound fine!

    AU-717s are "war horses".
