i am looking at a pioneer sa-9500 amp and the seller tells me that there is a pop when the amp is turned off. i am wondering if that is common? is it easy to fix? and is it worth worring about? :scratch2:

Hmm, if you hear a popp on switching the amp off, this means the speaker relay is not switching off. So it could me mechanicaly blocked, or somebody has bridged it, because it had done its job and wanted to protect the speakers from some fault in the amp. So I would worry.

Don`t know, it could be only a minor thing, or something bigger. This has to be investigated. Fixable is neary everything, only a question of time and money (and available replacement parts)
