I just heard that Avery Fisher's wife, Janet C. Fisher, died back in December. She was apparently quite a remarkable woman. In addition to all of the accomplishments noted in her obituary she also worked at her husband's side back in the early years of the Fisher Radio Corporation. My condolences to the Fisher family.

Her obituary.

Two remarkable people ....

If you read both obituaries, it's clear they were amazing people.
He turned a hobby into an empire and then became a philanthropist.
She continued a great tradition of community service.
We should all live such fullfilling and impactful lives.

RIP, Mrs. Fisher.

We all only get one shot. It's nice when a life is well lived. RIP Mr. & Mrs. Fisher. Our condolences to Chip.

Most definitely a full and rewarding life, and one that left the world a little better place for music.

RIP, Janet.

Would love to have a time machine and 15 minutes of their time to talk with both of these amazing people...RIP Mr and Mrs. Fisher :music:

If only everyone in the world could contribute 1% of what they did the world would be one hell of a place.
