Tower has a big sale going on and I picked up things I was curious about, but not enough to spend much on. Since I really never got out of the vocals section all I can tell you about was there. Verve.....Ella, Billie, Sarah etc $7. The songbook stuff. The Ella/Satchmo was there, etc.
At the $8 level I picked up Cassandra Wilson and Diane Reeves doing standards.
If I had had the money I could have easily bought 20 discs just of jazz vocals.
If you live in a place that has a Tower store it is worth the trip. If you don't they might be doing this on their website too.
