SandyG is having computer issues, so don't worry if you don't hear from him for a while. He just called and wanted me to post this status. Calls are welcome and he says he'd enjoy that. Will update as things evolve.

As soon as I read that I was thinking the same thing. Sandy mention quiet a while ago that he was having issues, but I thought it was more to do with navigating the site and just a technology thing.

If that old cuss needs some help I'm in....

I think since he loves MIl-Spec radios, he needs a MIl-Spec laptop, a Panasonic ToughBook full rugged is just the thing.

I am glad to hear about this update. I checked some of his latest topics and they did not sound very pleasant, like "I'm falling apart". So it is good to know that his long absence got "just" a technical reason.

Send a few EF50's - oh, and a hammer - that should fix it. ;)

Good news that it's only Sandy's 'puter.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, duct tape and a screwdriver, there is only one more option--a bigger hammer!

Good to know that it is only the computer that is down, not the operator.

When I first saw the headline, I was concerned. Glad to hear its just the computer, and not our resident "spiteful old cuss".

Still trying to get used to Mulester7 being gone. :(

Thanks for the update, Ken. I'll pass this on to Mystic and Jay, they were asking about him.

I am a former techno geek with a drawer full of spare parts. If someone can get an idea of the issue I will raid my stash for the parts if I have what is needed to get him back up and running.

Is Sandy in financial trouble? Just wondering because if he can't afford to fix his computer or buy another maybe he needs other help than a new computer. I have no idea, just wondering what's really going on.
