    Hi all!

    I have a heavy baby - 1000X reciever ;)
Few days ago start recap and refresh some parts - rectifier boards etc...
Also replace first transistor (2SC458) on amp board on new Toshiba 2SC2240. Old 2sc458 often have internal corrosion inside...
Make soldering work on amp board - solder each point on the board, I guess you knew why... ;)
    Starting work on rectifier board -use ultra-fast SF34 diodes (3A 125V) :

Thanks John! I think same, I did not like it (yellow-red ring on the right cap - thinking it was electrolyte leaking):

could it be possible that you could get photos of the tuner board located right behind the volume control on the 1000x I was a dummy and took out the 1uF caps figuring they also would have the + and - marked on the board like the rest did.. NOPE now i dont have a clue which way they go and hate popping quality caps making a guess.. or even worse..
