I have noticed over the last few months that the left channel output of my integrated seems to have degraded somewhat. I have seen threads on checking output bias and such wonder what should I, the novice try.
If you love your Sansui, cough up the cash for a good multimeter and a service manual from AG Tannenbaum. It'll describe how to check DC offset and output transistor bias.
Sound is slightly less substantial from the left channel then the right channel and is definitely more noticable as the volume is increased. Tried switching sources, switching inputs from those sources (left-to-right channel and so on).
I will have to as they say "RTFM". I have the service manuals!
