New one in, was working with no issues but looks like someone has been here before and forgot to solder back in some parts on the power supply board. Just going to hope for the best. Everything went smoothly except the $17 a pop filter caps I bought are....3...mm....too tall. Ouch. Ordering some 10,000uF 80V caps and am just going to make it work. Enjoy the pics of this awesome amp.
Gonna try to put the trimmers on the backside of the amp board. Terrible placement either way. Replaced all the uni-watt drivers, kinda want to replace all semi's on the amp board but will probably hold off.

Oh man.....I don't want to give this guy back. Filter caps turned out not looking too bad. Right channel drops level and tone still so it's transistors shotgun time. But it sounds so good I can't imagine even using eq. All the dual 2SA798's gotta go in this one, and the phono stage has some 2SC1313's that also have to go. People only talk about the uni-watt drivers on the driver board, not sure why not the others.

They are great amps. I'm working on an AU-11000. The filter caps I'm upgrading to 15,000 at 63V solely due to their exact fit.
