Fingers crossed it is fixed .. as of now there are no more thumps at turn on. Leestereo was right that the issue was in the pre-amp board F-2019. There were two major physical flaws on the right channel of the board..one of the output wires was about to snap off and the transistor TR716 had its Emitter leg barely soldered on because the trace was ripped off .... Thank you to everyone for their help...
