Sansui au7700 tech advice needed

I would second that detailed inspection. It also pays to VERY GENTLY rock components while looking at the solder side connections through a magnifying glass. Solder connections can look good and shiny, but still have lifted from the tracks. Include all the wiring connections in your search as well. Also, from the pictures, those replacements look very much like signal diodes not high current rectifier diodes you would expect to see. Just an observation. I also wonder why they would have blown because that is unusual.

I have seen it before, power surge mishaps (lightning strike), that kind of things could cause these rectifiers to blow.

What diodes do I order? Might as well replace them.

So, what was the final reason for the problem? I am experiencing the same problem in my Au7700.
