Problem is, the tape out jacks level is dependant upon the source level, not the local volume level...otherwise taping would be a real biatch.
Thats some cool stuff. Im going to try the tape out thing and see what happens.
You will have a constant level going to the amp regardless of where you set the volume knob, that's what'll happen. Play with it if you like (but only if your amp has a level control), but it's pretty impractical for daily use.
 
I can put the "tape out" into the preamp though right? I mean the amp does have SOME level control (L + R)but certainly not a volume switch.
