Got this in and it seemed to work decent enough the few seconds I listened to the radio through headphones. Strangely, one of the rail fuses for a channel was blown. All transistors tested fine, so I didn't think anything of it and went on with the restore.
Now it's failing DBT, dims for a second then bright as day. Boards out, it's fine.
The only thing touched on the driver boards were the trimmers and the two capacitors. And of course Deoxit was applied to the slots.
The voltage emitter to emitter on the output transistors combined flies to 37 volts, boards in or out either channel.
