I've never seen a compiled list of Sansui's racks and cabinets posted anywhere but if you guys need this here it is. At least it's all I could find. I have about 10 more cabinets styles but I don't know what the model numbers are.

If you guys know of any additional numbers please tell me. I will include them in 'this first list' as they are mentioned.

Some of these racks and cabinets towards the end are probably Sansui China.

Thanks Michael-Otto.

It's already added above in #1.

I knew some of the racks were 'Supercompo - Intelligent Supercompo' racks but didn't know which ones were which models.

Hi

The GX90 was also a "SuperCompo" rack. The GX80 had a front headphone jack, and the GX90 had a power switch (internal power distribution board) and internal illumination, and the GX60,70,80 an 90 all had glass doors.

From the SuperCompo brochures I was lucky enough to pick up with a recently aquired GX90 rack (apologies for the quality of the photos)

If anyone wants scans of any particular parts of the brochures let me know (keeping in mind that the brochures are the size of 8 A4 sheets)

Cheers

Thanks for the information and brochure photos. The brochure is most appreciated. It's broadened my horizon on Supercompo equipment.

I've added the info in #1 above.

What racks were large enough to fit the G-8/9k receivers? They were black and had no doors or sides. The bottom shelf was the largest of four (?) shelves, and they got progressively smaller as they went up. I wish i could find a picture..

Greetings!
I saw a Sansui GX-5755 @ SA today. It has a glass door and a glass lift top for turntable access. I would have picked it up to replace my Kenny cabinet, but all my "goodies" wouldn't fit :-(

Thanks for the model number. I put it on the list.

I think I saw that rack for sale.

Was that the one on 'Sansui eBay Argentina'?

Bluesky -

No, the one I saw was in a Salvation Army thrift store here in lovely, sweltering Tulsa, Ok.

It was in decent condition and dirt cheap. Just a bit too small for me.
