Sansui S-57 Speakers

I have a set of Sansui S-57 speakers that are around 20 to 25 years old. They really blast. I love them. My problem is the foam rubber that holds the Woofer cone has dry rotted. I am considering replacing the Woofers. What I would like to know is:
1- Can they be replaced?
2- How hard will this be to do?
3- What should I replace the old Woofer with to get the same quality of sound?
By the way, they are powered by a Onkyo Amp, and run through a BSR EQ-3000. Everything here is at least 20 years old and I haven't heard anything that will beat it yet.

Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

I have a pair of S-57s and I love them...although when I got them the original woofers were gone... and a set of radio shack 12s had been poorly installed... I took the time to install them properly and sealed them well..
They came alive!!! The RS 12s had a bottom end of 27hz and a spl 90 at 50watts rms. A perfect match... I use them as my mains... on my A/V ... running an onkyo. The hit very well.. solid at 32hz
