Sansui TA-300 vs Realistic STA-800

hello all, first thread here. I own a Sansui TA-300 my older brother gave to me, he bought it new at least 35 years ago, I usually play LPs and CDs with it and I have to say that it performs ok to me. The look of it isn't very charming though.

I'd have a chance to buy a Realistic STA-800 for 50$, it seems in good shape but it misses both of the sliders buttons on the right side of the face.

Is that Realistic better than the Sansui as for the sound ?

a short search on the web revealed that the Realistic has a funny feature (auto magic !) that automatically scan for the best signal of any FM station. Does it perform well in any other aspect ?
