You guys/gals have added several new artists to my listening pleasure. Thank you.
Over the past few years, my musical tastes (nay, interests) have been expanded due to my three children – now teenagers & post-teenagers. It started with Raffi – and has moved right through Metallica to M&M and beyond. Fortunately, for me, I’m not quick to judge and totally open to new ideas/music/concepts. And I have my children to thank for opening up new musical vistas for me.
And now, this forum takes over.
Here is a sampling of things I’ve been listening too for the past few hours;
AC/DC – Ride On (Blues! Who would have thought?)
The All-American Rejects – Swing Swing
Yes – Roundabout (one of the best groups ever)
American Hi-Fi – Flavor Of The Week
Lara Fabian – I will Love Again (awesome voice)
Marilyn Manson – Sweet Dreams (awesome performer)
EL&P – Lucky Man (Moog would be proud!)
Anything Madonna (just threw that in!)
Grateful Dead – C.C. Rider
Five Man Electrical Band – I’m A Stranger Here
Miles Davis & Thelonius Monk – Bye Bye Balckbird
..
and now J.J. Cayle
Time Traders
and several more are queued up!
Well, …. I do have eclectic tastes, I guess.

Remember Steppenwolf? Came across this one this morning while sorting through a stack I had put away. Almost forgot about it and certainly didn't mean to put it away. This is an outstanding folk blues collection. John just has one of those voices and the talent to back it up. Good stuff :yes:
