We used to call them cop mustaches. Now they call them porn star mustaches. Do you look like this?

Schiit suggested Q1 for the Sol launch.. I check their site every few days. Also interested in their streamer Pi market entry and the frequency engine.. was like October when they spoke about their new projects. I get it, play close to your vest but it seems like they could do better at building up the anticipation and manage expectations better by giving an update.

prob they don't care and know that nomatter how many they're able to build, they'll sell out in short order. If they just start w 700.. I'm guessing they have 'at least' that many customers who have some scrill set aside, ready for the drop. i can't imagine how they wouldn't do better than some fun lifestyle company like Shinola but maybe that's not their high water mark.

They give some pretty regular updates over at head-fi where both Mike and Jason have dedicated threads. Granted, those threads have a lot of side chatter, but you can generally find their specific posts. Jason did say they were coming out with a decent number of products this year and he has recently posted details about the Ragnarok 2.

He also explains they do not give too many early preview things since there can be a lot of hiccups in the development and production processes and they got burned by a few early products being announced before they were ready and then the product wound up being delayed months. They now try to make announcements closer to when the product is for certain ready to be sold.

i read somewhere that Shinola won't sell you a TT unless you have at least 1 tattoo and/ and/ and some form of ironic facial hair, be it flavor saver, goat, handle bars or full beardo. is this true? I say I don't want one but I'm also scared of needles so mayhap this is really the source of my middling brand antipathy.

Maybe when you're done labeling people, you can give some thought to these wise words from a late & great :)

I'm a DD table kinda guy but for $599 I will have to at least go try this one out up there. That price is killer especially knowing it's made in the USA and developed in part by Conrad.

release date is close (not set yet)
this interview came out with Jason where he discusses the new Ragnarok amplifer and it does sound very very promising. Type of all lessons learned from aegir and lyr 3 and vidar and hopefully the best of all.
the video is not explicitly related to the table but I thought Id share it despite the fact that the guy who is interviewing jason is honestly quite annoying, I dont know whats up with him, but Id suggest he never interview anyone again. the part that he mumbles about his XLr cables are just one cringe worthy example and jason is so patient, lol I'd call him out two minutes into the interview
