Growing up on the farm we had all kinds of unusual foods including tripe, tongue, lung soap. egg soup, pigs stomach, and of course scrapple. Best way to eat scrapple is to have it fried firm and then pour syrup over it.
Never heard of it till just this thread! Really doesn't sound like much more than spam with add-ins! My grandfather used to love lightly cooked eggs with pig brains........ sorry but my head just gets in the way of that!
