Secure - https or not?

why does this site come up with a not secure warning? It does so at home on my I Pad, as well as at work on a Windows system.

Actually, the site IS running HTTPS (secure) - but some of the linked vendors and images folks post (photobucket and the like) aren't always Secure links.

Did you change your Bookmark from http to https last week when the site went to Secure mode?

Have no idea what version of the browser or software you are running -
I'm on a MacPro with Mojave 10.14.3 0 - Safari 12.0.3 and I'm getting no warnings
But Safari on the Mac can be wonky -
I don't know about your WIN system at work ... or what browser (IE? or Edge perhaps?)

@hjames

Some folks may be talking about this warning they still get with HTTPS.

(Chrome on Mojave)

As compared to this that I see on the fully HTTPS sites.

I’ll try rebook marking it at work. New Windows 10, I was using Chrome. Will switch to Firefox and see . Thanks for the replies.

My computer has recently started displaying a "not secure" warning when viewing AK. It had been showing HTTPS since the switch.

Have we regressed?

what is detecting it? I use a military grade of norton and its only complaining that some of the images are not secure (perhaps you are russians!)

At the top inquiry window, it says "Not Secure/http". I have Norton too (civilian only, however) and don't think it's anything to do with that.

Well, Google Chrome thinks it's not secure. I get the same warning @olson_jr showed in Post #4. Never used to get that.

That's not the site then, that's the pictures that are added with a

link instead of the upload file button. When you go to a page with a linked image you're going to a different site to get the image. If that site isn't secure, neither is the link.
