advise on worth.

I'm selling four Mac components in a custom made mahogany "rack."

Products are:

McIntosh C28 Preamp
McIntosh MR78 FM Tuner
McIntosh MI-3 Maximum Performance Indicator (Tube Oscilloscope)
McIntosh MC2105 Amp

My friend is the original ower (of all pieces)... and had a wood craftsman custom build a mahogany cabinet (real wood) for these pieces.

The products are in 8 or 8.5 (out of 10) condition. No scratches, glass in nice shape, everything works (except a couple small indicator lights on preamp).

He'd prefer a local buyer (Los Angeles) to purchase all items (including wood cabinet).

** Could someone please advise me on what these products would be worth?

Seriously now run an e-bay check now for all four might bring a lower price IMO as oppose to individual auctions.

For the amp/preamp and tuner you are probably looking at about $2000. The MI-3 is more of an unknown for value since these are not common and a lot depends on the condition of the scope tube. I've seen them from $200 to about $1,000. Since it has the MI-3 rather than the MPI-4, I suspect the pieces are early production series.
