Picked up this equalizer with no paperwork.

What is the proper way to hook this up?

I do it the same way with most anything I pick up, Google the model number and grab the manuals and brochure from the usual suspects. Gotta register at HFE to download it so while you are doing that and so you can listen to the unit, put it on a Tape Monitor Loop. Out of amp to EQ, out of EQ to amp. Select Tape Monitor you used and there you have it based on the switch settings on the unit and the ins and outs you used on the 9500. That why you grab the manual. The SG gives you a tape monitor for the one you used up.

Connect it up in a tape loop. It provides a replacement for the tape loop that it consumes.
