or should we request a special Forum such as Pioneer, Sansui, Mcintosh etc have.

Over the years and on different forums I see a very solid level of support for these "Sleeping Giants" of hifi...

I know that they do not fit the normal standard but boy oh boy do they perform...

No - it makes the work harder for the mods, who work for free.

honestly I'm not real big on overly divided forums, especially when there is a lot of overlap in subject area. It seems that people only really drop by specific sections of the forum, so if things get divided out the people who can answer your question may never see it.

That also comes from the POV of someone who is an admin on one forum and a moderator on another. It makes the management side more difficult when you have to spend a lot of time shuffling stuff around.

Yes. And give them all as much Silenor as they'll hold.....sorry, I just never found one in the wild that wasn't riddled with various component failures.

I could not buy anything Mitsubishi made ever again. I owned one of their TVs several years ago. It had picture in picture and needed a PIP module replaced, according to a local tech. Mitsubishi would not sell him nor me a module. They would only sell them to "authorized" service centers. Of course, there were none anywhere near me. I eventually found a used module from a donor TV, but the hassle was not worth it. I sold the TV. Never again...

Depends on whether you're a buyer or a seller I suppose...
And it sounds like I should count myself lucky I've never owned Mitsu electronics.
