I wanted to give a shout out to Paul, aka @ManyMoonsAudio. The work he did on my big G is amazing. I took it offline several years ago and have been using my G-8000 while waiting for a time to get i recapped.
Having had a bad experience the last time I shipped the thing out for service (the amp box was dropped on my doorstep), I decided to hand deliver and pick up. I got to meet Paul and his Dad. Both are two of the nicest folks you'll ever meet.
Paul's work is top notch. I asked for the bets bits to be put in an that's what he did. I only wanted to do this once and have it last me the rest of my life. So, With the new bits and Paul's amazing work, I'm good to go until I take a dirt nap.
Next up is the cosmetic end, but I think I'm going to enjoy the little beast before that happens.
