I have the ST 1700B, but it has been upgraded to include auto-set level, and the inter-modulation distortion module. I tend to use the HP-8903A a bit more.

    Enjoy,

Yes. I noticed the extra controls on the top center where those options (IM Distortion) are inserted.

I have an OttLite also. I got it from my mom when she passed last year. It is a floor stander with a magnifier and a small parts bin. My bench is kind of a disaster at the moment. Most of my stuff is getting packed up at the moment as I am getting prepared to sell the house and move. This room is scheduled for last.

Bump in hopes others will add to the thread.
Also some of the earlier images are missing since the big update. Maybe edit with new pictures?
I don't know why I like this thread so much? A glimpse and perception?
I just read every post from the start in March 2008. Fun

Here's my little hide away, just the basics and a bit messy need to re work it agian...I am surprised to see how many people sit down to work..My back is buggered so I like to have a high bench...but either way i would think sitting down would be so restrictive ...I built my bench and top shelf out of scrap timber and some old doors...need to get the finger out and finish the set up

    Thanks Tom!
The infrared temp gun is a Milwaukee M12 from toolup.com
The Weller hot air gun is from Grainger .

    Both very useful tools!
