I just went through the whole thread for the third time, highly enjoyable.
My 10x12 sanctuary...excuse the poor quality pic.
Few years back a friend had a pair of morels....very extensive bass repro for such a small speaker.Think they went out of bizz in the 90s,might be wrong.
Just a rotation of speakers but these really work with the new amplification and pre-amp setup. These are Royd Abbots.
Although unintentional, the image presents a smoky last-round-before-the-club-closes-at-2 a.m. vibe.
Very very small room (sharing with my little brother) but i make it work.
Boston Acoustics A400 fronts, soon to have Boston A70 Center and an unpictured Polk PSW110 subwoofer. Reciever is Sony STR-DA3700ES, record player is Denon DP-300F with Ortofon Red cartridge.
Also, morel drivers are used in top hi end speakers this Days. (diy as well but they are less apprcieted there)
My mistake but glad it gave you a laugh[Need some work on your English old chap....]
There are two companies named Morel - an American company and an Israeli company.
New setup in the shop.
You can see my bed in the lower left-hand corner of the photo.

Our little system

Nice setup, mikeszx81. And the sonics on that RHCP album are simply outrageous. The shift away from the funk-laden foundational groove laid by Flea on the bass towards Frusciante's more introspective work on the guitar makes it quite the listen.
Yes love this album
This was my lounge system until recently. The amp has just been changed
So that's Naim CD3 into Myst Tma3 with Royd Minstrel speakers. As you can see, I also have a Schiit Asgard 2 for headphone listening, Headphones are Grado RS2e
This is the bedroom system. Sonneteer Byron CD player into Sonneteer Campion amp. Speakers are a DIY version of some NVA cube speakers I owned, Similar to Allison Six.
Great setup! I love Sonneteer gear.
