I'm STILL running my 15" Audio Nirvanas. Best sounding "accurate" speakers I've ever heard.

They are the old style ceramics. They have been replaced, I believe, with the "Classic" ferrite model losing the phase plug and whizzer cone.

I would think a whizzer cone is needed for a full range single driver that size.
