Have read several reviews on this rather new "Barricade" BT speaker and it seems well priced and offers a decent sound for the size of it.

Batt life looks decent. The build appears to be really solid. It is supposed to be water poof and even floats.

Volume reports indicate that it's more than adequate, with a pretty good base response and the clarity is also in keeping in the mids/highs. After talking with a SK rep, she said that it operates on a 4.0 BT wave.

And, I think it can be paired? Plus, the price is under $100!

Anyone hear or have gotten one of these. Time to retire the old TDK's "A33" & "360". They were great speakers for their time, but heavy and bulky.

Guess they are too new on the scene, or no one has regarded them as a good buy?

Well, tried one (Barricade) out at the store and it wasn't bad. However, there was a JBL next to it, and the JBL thrashed it. Course the price was double, but so was the quality of the sound.

Thus,it's gonna be a show down between the JBL Extreme and the Fugoo Sport. Each has their respective strengths.

The Fugoo XL Sport is the clear overall winner among these two. :)
