Not 5V? Surprising for that vintage. I was going to try to find a very large 5V capacitor as a replacement, just to see if that would work. They were sometimes used in laptops for the clock but I haven't looked for any new product lately.

I need to scare up a service manual for the T-7; I only have the owner's on PDF.

That won't work in this, I think, but if you want to try they are called supercaps or memory backup caps. MCM has them. .47F is a good number.
